✅ 1. What the Planner Page Shows
The Planner Page is divided into three sections:
- Day Planner – focuses on your current work day
- Week Planner – helps you plan ahead week by week
- Month Planner – gives you the big picture over the coming months
✅ 2. Day Planner – Your Dynamic Daily Diary
The Day Planner is designed to plan your work day for you.
- It automatically shows your 5 most urgent commissions and projects, based on start date (not just deadlines).
- This is really helpful when different projects take varying amounts of time. For example:
- Two commissions might share the same deadline
- But one only takes 2 days, while another takes 10 days
- Knowing the correct start date keeps you on track.
For each commission or project, you’ll see:
- Title of the work
- Client name
- Start date and deadline
- All associated tasks, if any have been added, with checkboxes so you can tick them off
Commissions and projects stay on the Day Planner until their status is changed to Completed.
✅ Priority Tasks on the Day Planner
The Day Planner also lists your Priority Tasks separately at the top.
- Priority tasks show regardless of start date or deadline, so you’ll always see them first.
- This ensures you don’t miss time-sensitive steps, like responding to an enquiry before the project even starts.
✅ Why the Day Planner is so useful
- It works like a dynamic diary, always updating automatically.
- You can see all your most urgent work and tasks in one place for any given day.
- You can check off tasks as you go, keeping your workflow clear and manageable.
✅ 3. Week Planner – See Your Week at a Glance
The Week Planner shows your commissions and projects spread across their start dates through to their deadlines.
- You can scroll through future weeks
- It’s ideal for booking upcoming work, because you can instantly see which days or weeks are free
- Helps you plan ahead and avoid overloading any single week
✅ 4. Month Planner – The Bigger Picture
The Month Planner works just like the Week Planner, but for the entire month (and beyond).
- You’ll see all commissions and projects mapped from start date through to deadline
- You can scroll through future months
- It’s perfect for balancing your workload over the year and avoiding bottlenecks by seeing where you have gaps
✅ 5. Why the Planner Page is so Useful
- Day Planner keeps you focused on today’s priorities
- Week Planner helps you plan the near future
- Month Planner shows you the bigger picture for long-term planning
By combining all three, the Planner Page gives you a complete overview of your schedule—from urgent daily tasks to future months—so you can stay organised and in control.
